Terms of Service
This page covers the rules for shopping at morpaankh.in. We have written it the way we would explain it to you across a counter, so it should read easily. If a line still trips you up, email us and we will talk it through.
When you use the site or place an order, you are agreeing to what follows.
Who you're buying from
MorPaankh is run from Surat, Gujarat. Our contact details sit in the footer of every page, and you can always reach a person at support@morpaankh.in.
Prices and stock
- Prices are in Indian Rupees and include any tax shown.
- What you see at checkout is what you pay. Nothing is added quietly along the way.
- We work to keep our stock counts honest, but every so often a piece sells out in the moment between your cart and our shelf. If that happens to your order, we refund you in full within a day and tell you why.
How a piece looks in real life
Every photo on the site is the actual product, shot honestly. A little variation in colour and weave is normal, because fabric is dyed in batches and every screen renders colour its own way. What arrives at your door is the piece you saw, not a polished mock up.
Orders and acceptance
Placing an order is you offering to buy. We accept that offer when your confirmation email goes out. On the rare occasion that a price is clearly wrong, a piece has just sold out, or something looks fraudulent, we may decline the order and refund you in full within a day.
Payments
Shopify and the gateway you choose handle the payment at checkout. We never see or store your card number. If a payment will not go through, that call comes from your bank, so try another method or write to us and we will help.
Shipping
The full details live on our shipping page. In short: free over ₹2,000 and ₹40 below that, packed and sent within 1 to 2 business days, and with you in 3 to 7 business days depending on where you are. Local pickup is on offer too.
Returns
Our Returns and Refunds page has the whole story: 7 days from delivery, defects and wrong sends only, and we cover return shipping when the slip is ours.
Your account
If you set up an account, keep your password to yourself. Anything done from it counts as done by you. Locked out? Email us and we will help you back in.
The words and images here
The writing, photographs, logo, and layout on this site belong to MorPaankh, or to people who have let us use them. Browse all you like. Please do not lift our copy or photos for another shop. If you would like to feature something for press, ask us first and we will usually say yes.
If something goes wrong
We stand behind everything we send. The law also sets fair limits on what any shop can promise, so the most we are liable for on any order is what you paid for that order. Things outside our hands, like a courier caught in a storm or how a piece is washed at home, sit outside that.
The law that applies
Indian law governs these terms. If a disagreement comes up that we cannot settle by talking, it belongs to the courts in Surat, Gujarat.
Updates
We will freshen these terms now and then. The current version always lives here, and using the site after a change means it applies to your next order.
