Gendafool

No Indian celebration starts without the marigold, strung in garlands over every doorway. Genda is that flower, and the set wears its warm festive yellow on a pure cotton that holds its shape and stays light on the skin. The motifs are real shisha mirror work, small mirrors set by hand and outlined in block-print orange, a Rajasthani craft made to catch the sun. The mul cotton dupatta is the softest piece of it, a fine airy weave hand block-printed in rust to match. It was made for the days the house fills with flowers and people.
