Laal Sitara means red star, for the shisha mirrors set along the sleeves that flash with every turn of the wrist. Each tiny mirror is held by hand with coloured resham thread, the old craft that makes plain cotton come alive in light. The body stays calm in deep maroon so the sleeves do the talking.
